Joint Ventures in Construction - Managing the Risks (15 October 2025)
This seminar was structured to provide attendees with a ‘cradle to grave’ experience of the risks to joint venture (JV) parties in construction projects. We were lucky to have a panel with such varied and in-depth experience at each stage of the JV process, from formation all the way through to disputes.
Once the panel had set out the theory of their area of expertise, they quickly moved to discussing real-life experiences and anecdotes. Given that the nature, structure and approach of JVs are not set by any regulatory standard, these discussions could have continued all night!
The attendees were engaged throughout, and the feeling was that they had real life experience relating to the subject matter. This was reflected by the quantity and specificity of the questions that were put to the panel during the Q&A.
Overall, this was a very successful seminar on a fascinating subject. So many unanswered questions remain on this subject, and how the landscape may evolve over the coming years. We would like to thank the panel for so generously sharing their expertise.
