SCL (Singapore) organised a career talk at the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law on 2 October 2019. The talk was well-attended with more than 20 students in the audience. The construction law practitioners on the panel were Kua Lay Theng from WongPartnership, Justin Tan from Eversheds Harry Elias and Glenn Cheng from K&L Gates Straits Law. Moderating the panel discussion was SCL (Singapore) Council member, Ashok Kumar Rai.

It was an interesting session with the panellists sharing stories of their experiences in the construction law scene, from contested payment claims in the adjudication regime to large scale arbitrations involving more than 20 witnesses. Feedback received was that the career talk was useful and one that gave students insights into the practice of construction law.
