The webinar was well attended, with about 50 participants. This was a timely talk on a topical subject that was close to all our hearts, given the challenging times faced by the industry these past months.

 
Paul was his usual showman self, delivering on-point and concisely his well-considered views not just on how the COTMA works and the impending amendments to COTMA, but also a portent of what the long term implications of COTMA are.
 
He finished his presentation strongly and on the dot (in respect of his pre-prepared section), by speaking about the practical measures one should put in place, such as to hedge one’s bets. We then segued into a lively Q&A session where we discussed matters such as the more interesting aspects of Part 8, and took questions from the audience.
 
There were many other interesting and useful takeaways from the session (which are aptly summarised in the accompanying notes).
 
It was a pleasure and a privilege to be chairing the session and sharing the stage once more with Paul.
