I recently had the pleasure of attending the Society of Construction Law Singapore’s Networking Cocktails event on March 1^st, 2023, held at the Savanh Bistro & Lounge by Indochine. The event was a perfect blend of relaxed informality, delicious cuisine and a great opportunity to meet and network with various industry professionals.  

Representatives from many esteemed companies attended the event. The Vice Chairman of SCL(S) started the evening by thanking the sponsors and the delegates for their generous support and for attending in such great numbers.

Throughout the evening, there was a real sense of community among the guests, with many of them taking the opportunity to catch up with old friends and colleagues and to make new connections with other professionals in the industry. We were able to mingle and enjoy a variety of cocktails and appetisers while discussing industry trends and sharing insights. As the drinks flowed and the conversations continued, the energy in the room was palpable, with a real sense of excitement and enthusiasm for the future of the construction industry in Singapore. It was truly an enjoyable and informative experience to hear from such a diverse group of individuals who share a passion for construction law and its related fields.

As the night progressed, I had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with professionals from various companies. There was a real sense of satisfaction among the guests, who had enjoyed the opportunity to network and connect with other professionals in the industry. Many of them left with a renewed sense of purpose and determination to contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the construction industry in Singapore.

Overall, the Society of Construction Law Singapore Networking Cocktails event was a resounding success and a testament to the strength and vibrancy of the construction industry in Singapore.

The Society of Construction Law Singapore is to be commended for organising such a successful event, and I look forward to attending again next year.
