Pre-AGM Talk: The Architect At Work..... Myth And Reality

As with any profession, the architect is the subject of numerous stereotypes.
This talk will contrast some of those stereotypes with the realities of life in architectural practice, as seen through the spectacles of Chris Vickery’s thirty years of architectural practice in Singapore.
Chris will consider the roles of the architect as designer, contract administrator, agent and certifier, and other persona as might alight on the architect’s shoulders, and will speculate on the extent to which these roles match the stereotypes.
After the presentation, we will convene the AGM for voting members only.
