About the Webinar:
The Asia-Pacific region has experienced a growth in construction projects in the recent years. In view that all-risks insurance is often required of any construction project, the construction boom has led to an increased demand in construction all-risks insurance. Yet, questions on the triggering of policy liability remain.
In this session, we will discuss how policy liability may be triggered by “damage”. “Damage” is not an uncommon occurrence in construction projects. Often, however, insured parties are left wondering whether an occurrence is a “damage” or a “loss”? Insofar as an occurrence is a “damage” or a “loss”, there is the next question of what does “sudden and unforeseen” entail? Further, would there be exclusion clauses to prevent the triggering of policy liability? We will address these questions in this webinar session.
Webinar participants will be able to watch and listen to (via computer audio, recommended for security reasons, or telephone line) the video presentation and Q&A discussion on their screens, as well as participate in the Q&A discussion by sending in their questions to the moderator via text using the built-in Q&A function.
