About this Webinar

This webinar will examine performance, advance payment and retention bonds, parent company guarantees and letters of credit (both payment and standby) in the context of construction projects and with reference to contractors’ overall financial management.

The speakers will also provide a brief review of hedging projects and their possible relevance.

Mr. David Platt – Partner, Pinsent Masons MPillay LLP

He has been based In Singapore for over 11 years (and is a Qualified Foreign Practitioner as well as an English Solicitor). He is a partner in the Finance & Projects team at Pinsent Masons MPillay. His practice has focused on advising all parties (developers, contractors, funders and procuring authorities) on major infrastructure and energy projects all over the world.
Ms. Jia Lin Ho – Associate, Pinsent Masons MPillay LLP
Jia Linh ho  Jia Lin Ho is an associate in the Finance & Projects team at Pinsent Masons MPillay, specializing in infrastructure projects and construction. She assists contractors, developers and funders on projects across Singapore, South East Asia and the Middle East. She has recent experience seconded to a major international contractor’s Singapore branch.

Anil Changaroth Anil, a lawyer in practice since 1995 is primarily a Conflict Avoidance, Dispute Resolution, Restorative Justice and Online Dispute Resolution practitioner. Also trained in Investor State Dispute Arbitration and Mediation, Anil sits as a Mediator, Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Dispute Board member. SCL(S) Chair in 2012-14, his Chambers and Consultancy represents parties in Asia Pacific in the construction industry and most aspects of commercial, civil, criminal matters and corporate front end Advisory work.
